Human-Environment Interaction
The environment we live in has a huge influence on our life.
List the influences the following characteristics have on our life in Minnesota.
Think about recreation, hobbies, buildings, jobs, maintenance, clothing, etc.

Summer In the summer I don't have school so I just screw around. I ride my bike and play b-ball. I just have fun. (keith)
Winter In winter i like to snowboard and snowmobile but the worst thing is there is school
Fall In fall I play football and school just started so things are just getting started (keith)
Spring i like sping because it means it is close tothe end of the school year
Tornadoes they are scary and I hate them They might kill me!!!! and tear down my house
and hurt my dog (keith)
Forests they are green
Lakes: lakes are where I spend about 400 hours each years and I love them because I can go swimming and walk on beaches and have fun(keith)
Rivers they are blue because the water reflects all the light except the blue shade

I. Location:
A. Absolute location:
1. way to find it is to use Lat. and Long.
2. abs. location is a place's position on the globe.
3. geographers also use the equator & prime meridian for abs. location.
B. Relative location
1. is the place's relation compaired to the other
2. places can have many relative locations
3. those places can change over time.

A. Physical charicteristics
1. all places have unique physical charictoristics
2. they have their own landforms
B. human charictoristics
1. population
2. the language they speak
