7-Day Trip in England
Title: Start of Our Trip
Date: May 12th
We got on a plane to London, England. We found out that May was one of the best times to go, so we waited until May. The plane ride was uneventful but once we landed we drove straight to London. While we were there, we saw Big Ben while riding in a double decker bus. After that we saw the St. Paul Cathedral before staying over night in a hotel.
Title: Fishing
Date: May 13th
We woke up at 7 am, and had some breakfast. Keith asked for a biscuit and got a cookie in return. In England, a biscuit is a cookies. McCormick burned himself on the toaster and had to ask for a band-aid. "Don't you mean bandage?" the front desk person answered. So, after I got my "bandage", we went our our way to the English Channel to fish. We rented a boat from a nice, yet perverted fisherman. "You got any nice birds back home?" he asked us. We just looked at each other and then shook our heads. The fisherman turned away and went to get our boat. Just a few fish is what we caught, but since the fish were saltwater, they were very interesting. We fished all day, then drove back to the hotel.
Title: White Cliffs of Dover
Date: May 14th
After sleeping in little bit, we went on our way to the cliffs for a while before moving to some place in Ireland to golfing and see horse racing. Keith won at golf. But, at the horse races we lost some money. According to some British people, we had lost 600 pounds. At the end of the day, we were whacked. We stayed at a really nice, 4 star hotel.
Title: Base Jumping
Date: May 15th
"Good day, mates!" our enthusiastic guide said. We had driven many a mile to a cliff to go base jumping. Our guide strapped us to a parachute and gave us a quick lesson. Soon after we were looking at a 800 foot cliff. It was nippy at the edge. McCormick peed his trousers. Then Keith crapped when we jumped. When we got down Keith bought his first jump suit. So did McCormick.
Title: To Scotland
Date: May 16th
After another night in the awesome hotel, we flew to Scotland see what we could find. Right when we got off the plane, we saw a bunch of guys in skirts playing the bagpipes. We left the air port and headed to Edinburgh where we toured the castle, which was kind of interesting. That took up the whole day so we drove to a new hotel.
Title: Western Isles
Date: May 17th
Today, we took a boat out to the Western Isles. These islands are really remote, yet a very cool thing to see. There were palm trees and the clear blue ocean water. Too bad for us, it started raining about 2 hours after we arrived at the Western Isles. We took the boat to the Mainland, and we stepped into our hotel soaking wet. The front desk guy said, "Guess you should've taken a brolly with you."
Title: Loch Lake
Date: May 18th
For our last day in Europe we traveled to Loch Lake. People say the Loch Ness Monster lives there, but we didn't see it. So, we packed up our stuff and got a the plane. McCormick brought his small comforter for the ride.
"That's a nice continental quilt you got there mate," a flight attendant said.
"What?"
"Oh nevermind. Would you like some bangers?" he said.
"Oh god no. I'll have some sausages, thank you."

Title:London
1/26: Today we went to Great Britain's capital London to eat some chips and go to the loo. But when we asked for the bathroom the person didn't know what we were talking about. so we asked another person and they said that we were from the west and that we should say the loo.
Title: Ireland
1/27: Now we went to lreland too see the red heads, and to have a famous beefburger. We first asked for a hamburger and that cook ground up some ham and handed it to us. So we asked for a beefburger and it worked.
Title: Iceland
1/28: This time we went to Iceland too see if it was really made of ice. And to chat up with the local natives. we asked them why they called it iceland, they said it was because they wanted people to think it was made of ice to keep people away. Actually it was not made of ice it was really warm.
Title: Ireland...again
1/29: Today we went base jumping in ireland. When we got there we asked the person if it was safe or not and he said "depends on the pupils". I asked "what does our eyes have to do with it?" And later we went to the loo....... again.
Title: The Pub
1/30: This day we elected to go to an english pub to just see how it was. we asked for a shirly temple, but the bartender said all we have is nothing. So we had to have bread, and we stayed until it got to late and we fell asleep in our car because we couldn't drive because we were too full of pub bread.
Title: Packing....for some reason
2/1: Today we started to pack even though we had 24 hours to pack the next day, but we got our bags all together and put them in the corner of the room. so after that we went down to the great cathedral, it was beautiful. then we went to the british intelligence headquarters. it was HUGE!! and they gave us a tour, but by that time it was 5:00PM.
Title: Late
2/2: Now I was thankful that we packed our bags, because by the time we got back from the helicopter ride over scotland and wales it was time for the plane to leave for the USA. so we took a cab, but i was scared because the driver was driving on the left side of the road and we got scared every time another car went by. but we made it to the airport and headed home. And when we got to the airport (finally) we talked to the person at the desk i asked for a plane ticket. but she didn't give my one so i took two and ran. I couldn't deal with this eastern culture for much longer.

American Indian & Alaskan Natives
Justin Orth
The first American Indian day was celebrated in may of 1916 in NY. A man rode horseback state to state getting endorsements. George H.W. Bush signed a joint congressional stating Nov. be known as "national Indian Heritage Month", to honor all 4.5 million Indians and Alaskan Natives. Also they run 20,380 businesses in L.A. making over $26 billion. And 25% of civilian-employed people in management are native Americans or Alaskan Natives. So Native Americans and Alaskan Natives are very important to the USA.
